I've got over 10k on mine, and no noise what so ever. Wear patterns are good, in fact IMO are wearing better than my stockers did after the same amount of mileage.

For the price I don't feel these can be beat plus a huge upside no one has mentioned is They are not directional so you can rotate them (side to side only if you have staggered).

Nope, Don't have that problem. Maybe your wheels aren't balanced properly.

I've had the same tires on my Works and had no problems what so ever. Thought they were a great tire and also at a great price. Did not notice them being noisy, the KDWs I have on now are insanely noisy compared to the HTRIIIs.

I actually believe they were directional. If you look on the sidewall, they indicate an outside sidewall and inside sidewall so technically, rotating them will have no effect.

Still a great tire though.

$112 each for the fronts and $155 each for the rears. Shipping was about $45. The place I had them shipped to charged $18 each for mounting and balancing.
This was the absolutely cheapest scenario I could find for the IS and with TireRack's positive review of the tire, there really was no other alternative for me.

They are asymmetrical and not directional. If they were directional they would have an arrow pointing forward. Asymmetric tires have an inside and outside but can roll either way.

But by being able to rotate, you give yourself a better chance for even wear patterns. Considering our cars have different loads at each corner, and then throw in that we don't travel on flat, straight roads there is no way your tires will wear exactly the same at all four corners.

Will this actually save you from having to buy tires any sooner? Eh... who knows. Guess it depends on how long you are keeping the car.

The tires are great value for sure. I have had them for about 4k miles now. They still sound pretty quiet. Tread looks brand new still. My brother also has them on his GS350 and loves them also. It sounds like this tire is pretty popular and for a great reason.
