Can you post a picture of the cupholder lid? That's the only one I am having trouble with but everything else looks perfect.

I'll take some better pictures and post them tonight. I cut 3 slits at the corners and overlapped them when I folded it over.

So, I want to do this to my IS350...however I have the silver sport console pieces. I understand that the paint will come off...so once I start there is no going back. My big question is how do you do the door pieces since the window switches are built into the panel? Has anyone tried this? How did you do it? Anyone have some pics?

Which corners are you referring to? Or do you just mean all the corners?

I found that the the bigger corners were pretty easy, even the ones in the door pieces. The shift gate is the only part I had a hard time with. If you look at the pictures it gives you a pretty good idea of how to do the corners, I'm not sure I can get more specific then that. As for the shift gate, that is going to take a lot of trial and error. I spent probably an hour just playing with that trying to get it to fit right and it still isn't perfect.

That's what I was trying to figure out! I want to put mine there now. Nice work makes me want to do the overlay, but I'm worried it will be a pain on the silver window switches.

I made a bracket to fit in the slot between the Radio controls and the AC controls.

Here is a little write up I did on it.

If I had the silver I probably would not have done the wrap. I just didn't like the wood at all and the fact that you can take out the switches makes it a lot easier to do with the wood pieces.

I highly doubt we can do that.

i don't think you should do this on your exterior
I know it's water proof but you never know how it will react to direct sun plus rain
and if you ever get a bird poop, I wonder how you are going to manage to clean cuz the material might react to it

i agree to that.. we really need to test it out.... and perhaps... it might be a permanent thing.. not reversible... cos you have to use adhesives..
