Thanks for all the welcoming messages. This actually seems like a pretty chill board and definitely holds a lot of information. Alright, to answer a few questions:
First of all, I still can't figure out the Homelink buttons after reading all the threads. I got the button to rapidly blink with the remote and then hit the learn button on the Genie and tried to link them but it doesn't seem to link at all. I mean, I've hooked every car up successfully and do all my own mechanical work but maybe I'm a retard...still reading.
As far as mods, here's the plan. I'd like to look for a front GFX lip and also some moderate springs. I'm thinking IS250 Eibachs? Also, I'd like some different bulbs in the headlights, aren't stock lights 4500k? Any recommendations on popular bulbs anyone? And then possibly an intake of some sort, haven't done any research. I also like the 08 wheels that are a shade darker than the ones I have on the car now. I'll probably upgrade when I'm ready for new tires. That should be about it, it'll be mostly a work vehicle so nothing crazy.
And then one day, I'll also learn most of the commands to my nav and figure out how to link my phone. Lexus told me that iPhones don't link...is this true?
Also, my interior is black. Which would be tough in the south but I am officially in love with the AC seats, best option ever.
Thanks again for all the welcomes and I'm glad you guys like the title It's only half true...90% of the time. Anyhow, let the postings begin. -b

i have iPhone and it linked w/out any problems.
you can't transfer contact from iPhone into your car contacts. need to use some other phone for that (or do it manually).

ahh, gotcha. I got it to link but it is a little annoying with names not showing up. Whats the fastest way to dial out? It seems theres a lot of commands just to get to the 'dial by name' screen. I did see the speed dial page, maybe that's easier? thanks, -b
