Thanks bro, yes it's lowered. I'm on h&r springs for now but I'm upgrading to coil overs in March. No I don't rub with the specs I'm running. I have a few new mods this year.

Glad you liked it! Sorry, but we're only able to do custom finishing on brand new wheel sets we sell. Let me know if theres anything you're interested in!

Default Vossen question

Hey, I did a search already but I couldn't find what I was looking for.
I'm new to this forum so Sorry if I'm Posting this in the wrong group.
I have a 08 is250awd and want to purchase a set of Vossen 083 that was previously on a is350rwd. The size is 19" +35 front & +30 rear with 225 on front and 275s on rear.
My question is would this fit?

The rear will likely rub, especially with the 275
Recommended flush offset is +40 on the rear
A +30 will poke and you'd likely need to stretch at least a 255 with some camber to fit those without rubbing depending on your height!

hey, I have 08 IS250 rwd with 18" stock wheels and now I want to change it to Vossen CV5. The question is: can I go F: 20x9 and R: 20x10?? And what size for tires should I go with??
Thanks

of course Ken1712

Mostly u should run F: 245.30 (depending offset you can go 235.30 or 255.30 at most) & R: 275.30

I am planning to lower my car after this done. And I dont want my tire hit the fender and rub it as well. So can you give me some suggest for my offset?? Thanks.

^235.30.20 / 275.30.20

It'll all depend on the offset you run and camber you give the car..

also you should do fender rolling/maybe pull depending on how aggressive u want to go

Any of you guys have the clear coat peel off of you Vossen rims? I've had my CV3s for just over 2 years, Matt black, machined face. At 1 year both drivers side rims started having the clear coat peel off. Had them replaced under warranty. Now at 2 years the passenger side has both wheels clear coat pealing as well as one of the new rims on the drivers side. Not sure what to do. May just have them powder coated this summer. Love the rims but the finish sucks. Always hand washed never use any wheel dressing or wheel cleaner. Just crappy clear coat.

Some of the wheels I had suffered peeling clearcoats, some have not. The Maya and Work wheels I had peeled but the Giovanna's currently on my car have not. I'm only guessing but I believe 2 coats of clear would prevent this but that would mean more work for the builders.
I took extra great care of my wheels so that isn't an issue. I'm using the same cleaning process on my current wheels so that proves my soaps aren't too harsh (Dawn).
Maybe a wheel company will read this and chime in.
