what connector is this??
so i was cleaning my engine bay today and saw this connector is not connected. i did some research and look at the pictures on other cars the connector is connected.

Did you trace the other end as far as you could? I don't **** by the pic but can tell you that our cars have many "unconnected" connectors. They use virtually the same primary harness on a lot of modes, and only connect the optional equipment that is ordered when the car is built. It is possible that this is for an option that your car doesn't have. I will pop my panel off in a sec, just to see if I'm in the same boat..... My car doesn't have a lot of the options that were available in '06. What year is your car, btw?

Yeh....... I was wrong. Mine is connected. Any I don't see anyway to trace it. The end on the engine side goes directly into a rather large harness and the other end goes into the fender. Perhaps someone here can shed some light for both of us?

It's a junction connector (EA1) between the body harness and engine harness. It is connected to the coolant glow plugs in a water pipe near the back of the head. These two glow plugs are there to reduce the period of increased fuel consumption due to a cold engine, and to improve heater performance.
