for those who installing an 2nd set of TPMS on your cars b4, I understand that they need to be done at the dealer. I was wondering b4 I mount the TPMS in, can they be program 1st? then mount them in after it has been program or dectected by the computer. that way we know forsure that the TPMS will work with our car, since there are some of you guys out there are planning to buy a set thats post april 2006, but the car is per april 2006, like me.

 

if you bought your car in apr... chances are they are pre-april production and they can take any sensors... the other thing is... my dealer said it has to be mounted on the wheels and balanced with the tires as well.. and it's a $52 charge for that... kinda ridiculous but yeah... saves your back next time....
