If you already have the Canon Rebel XTi, that is a fantastic camera for what you need. I have the same DSLR, Canon 2.8 wide angle with a 430EX flash and it's a great set-up. You made the right choice...Let the modding begin!!!

I do need a flash and a nice lens that will capture cars real good and be used as and all around lens.
