Default Question about a clear bra for an isx50

I got my clear bra installed by this well known shop in Jacksonville. The bra started peeling on the bottom, some corners had a wrinkle, the bra did not fully cover the bumper. The bra is 1inch away from covering the whole bumper all the way around.

Can someone tell me if this happen to them when you first got itstalled, is the bra post to cover the whole bumper, or they just did a really bad job?

Sorry but cant help you much. Mine its only top part of the hood and the small part on either side of the fenders. But if you're not happy take it back.

seems like a bad job. my clear bar is not peeling or wrinkling. my bra also doesnt cover the whole bumper. there is about less than 1/2 an inch border of the original bumper around the clear bra.

My bra started peeling n wrinkled after a week. How long have you had this bra on your car for?

My clear bra is still doing good after more than 2 years. An inch gap sounds excessive. Looks like the template they used sucked. Now peeling after a week? That is a bad job. Most installers have workmanship warranties, have them fix it.

your car should be under warranty for those issues. look into it with the people who put the bra on. the bra on my car has been on for almost 2 years, with no peeling or wrinkles. do you know if your clear bra is 3m or aerotect?

Go back to the shop and get them to fix it. You should have complete bumper coverage - mine goes right to the edge. The peeling, wrinkles, and poor coverage make me think that they didn't take enough time to apply the bra properly.

A good clear bra made by a reputable manufacturer should cover your whole bumper - to the edge. That said, if it's some cheap 3M knock-off it's likely the fit-and-finish are going to be substandard. In any event I would go back and complain and explain that you spoke with other owners who have a clear bra and the bra should cover the whole bumper cover - otherwise what's the point???

after the first week it started peeling and had wrinkles. i came back and the only thing they did was cut put the piece that was wrinkling and cut off the piece that was peeling. i did not notice it till a week later and i came back yesterday for them to fix it again, they said thats how the computer cuts out the bra and he said it is suppose to wrinkle or some shxt im like wtf i pay so much money for this and imma get what i pay for! if i paid an extra 400bucks i would of gotten this done right the first time. they said the owner is out of town so wait till he comes back and they will call me. btw the company who makes this bra is clear shield...
