Do it yourself. Really.

I've yet to see a dealer charging less than 200-300 bucks for install (some double that)... and it'll take you like an hour to do yourself, all done in the trunk, all plug-n-play

Yeah, dealers quoted me outrageous prices to do it. I just ordered it and will be installing it myself too.

I am going by this thread:
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...o-install.html

It looks crazy, but read the thread, you'll see most people did it themselves, including people that thought it looked too hard. I can't wait. My XM unit should be here Wednesday.

Yeah I just found that thread myself. I have XM in my other vehicle and love it - I think I'm going to have to pull the trigger.

I had Sirius which I loved, but since they merged I can get Stern on XM now, and keep it all through the shark fin.

Do it yourself. It is really easy. The XM unit is in the trunk and installs right next to the smart key unit. Takes around 1-2 hrs to do.
