Default Hey AWD owners: Check 4WD light

Have any of you ever receive that light before?

How far did you push the tire size difference front and rear before you get this light?

The only thing I have able to find is love67 when he said he ran stock 17" front and 19" rear, but checked his 19" rear setup and its only .5" off from the OEM 17" setup.

I was wondering if its possible to push close to 1" difference front and rear

i was running 255/35/19 for the rear, so it makes a inch difference. (225/45/17 for F and 255/35/19 for R)
also i was running 225/35/19 for the front and 255/35/19 for the rear, it is 0.8" difference, however the checked light didn't come on.

Yo I aint that crazy lol

The setup I was looking at is 225/40/18 and 255/40/18 which is .9" bigger in the rear... Same as love67's setup that gave him the light.

how do you calculate that inch difference? and is that the rolling diameter? i've been trying to figure out how i can pull off something staggered on mine and it would probably help if i understood these measurements... if no1 minds taking the time to answer

Because I was looking at a used set of wheels that comes with tires. If I had to get new rear tires then then the additional cost would make it almost as much as if I purchase new wheels.
