100 octane in IS350

The car, as far as I know, is programmed for 91. Pretty sure that's the octane listed in the manual too.

Anything higher would be a complete waste of money.

In general if a vehicle doesn't knock/ping on octane X and you change nothing about the car then anything higher than octane X is 100% useless.

^ Correct, as the higher octane will just burn slower thus LOSING horsepowr

My 2010 owners manual state 96 or higher required for optimum performance pg. 534
