The reminder on the nav is basically the service books for your vehicle...its mainly for your records...I assume its your first oil change? You can have the Nav System tell when is your next Oil Filter Change according to miles or a specific date, there is also for many other things like, oil, radiator coolant, air filter, cabin filter, tire rotation, brakes, a lot more. You can have all these set up to remind you...Just play around the service menu and you be able to reset...I will post later on how to reset but its raining right now and my car is outside in the streets. It's nothing to be worry about.

And the handle problem sound like a warranty issue to me, just drop it off at the dealer ship and ask for a loaner

The door handle does not use heat senors I believe.

I wear leather gloves on a freezing cold day and it works for me, although there are times where it takes a bit longer.

I just know that its not a head sensor because when you wash your car, if you chuck a bucket of water at the door handle while standing beside your car, the doors unlock themselves lol. Same thing with a snow ball, I have too much time on my hands.
