On that note, has anyone did one of these recently and paid via their website lately? Used a card I rarely ever use, and shortly got fraud charges the next day once it got charged...

ive seen people on cl use blackstone oil analysis before, what is this used for? is this something that is done just to check on the engine and make sure all is going good? also can this be used on transmission oil cause our cars trannies are known to have issues with the "lifetime" fluid and all

sorry for all the questions lol

It's like an insight into how your engine is wearing. It can show potential problems you're having (coolant leaks, bearing wear, etc). They can suggest longer OCI's (someone maybe doing 3k changes is recommend to try 6k changes, that'll save them money over the course of the ownership of the car. Definitely not necessary to do though Here's some info on the process. http://www.bobistheoilguy.com/used-oil-analysis-2/

They are a bit pricey compared to the Wix test kits ($28 vs $15), but you're paying more for their service than anything. The techs who did your reports are easily reachable, and their comments are hand-made vs Wix's computer comments. It doesn't really matter in the end though who you pick

How does the spoiler attach ? Screwed in or tape ? If so, can you point me to a link where you purchased ?

Thanks !

It's all tape. I used 3M grey automotive trim double sided tape, bought some.3M adhesive promoter and it's on there like glue. If you have a stock spoiler on your car, beware it is screwed to the trunk lid by three bolts plus the tape. Unfortunately I cannot find the link I bought these from. I got them off of eBay and they came as a set for the trunk spoiler and rear window roof spoiler. Just checkout ebay.

What paint did you use on your calipers? G2? Or some sort of spray? I painted over my reman'd rear caliper the other day and it looks pretty bad (bubbly, spots missing color)... I used Duplicolor's kit, but I can't recall it looking as bad as it did when I did my previous car, so I'm gonna wait on touching the other calipers at this point.

Stock, just got it for my bday. Didn't want to chance it with a cheap aftermarket so my girl bought an OEM from Lexus. Bad lighting makes it look darker than it is. I'll take a better outside pic here shortly.

My car being a 2010 I'm probably gonna order it from the dealership.. I was debating on either plasti dipping it black and then hitting it with glosififer or leaving it stock.. After seeing that pic I think I'll leave it stock
