Default Tire blew...

Should I buy a spare tire from somewhere? If so, where can I find one for a good price? I have 18k on my car and my passenger rear tire blew on the sidewall. I hit a small bump and all of a sudden the sidewall just blew. Any advice?

What condition are the rest of your tires in? If they have tread left, I'd order a new one from tirerack, if not, it's time to get 4 new ones. Also make sure the installer checks out your wheel for damage.

Were all your tires properly inflated (not overinflated)? I'd check the rest of them just to be safe.

Also, if you're lucky you'll be able to find someone selling a used tire with your specs online.

With 18K miles on your car, it's wise to buy 2 new tires for that axle. If you only replace one, the wear characteristics will be different. On a performance never replace just one tire.

what are these axles you speak of? we have 4 wheel independent suspension

lol just bustin your chops, what he means is it's better to replace both the rears at the same time instead of just one and leave the older one with less tread on it.
