But finding those signal wires under the drivers sill was a time saver.
How I was able to find the green/dark pink wire on the first try still amazes me! LOL

Hi, I know its this thread is a bit old but i thought i try my luck anyways. My car side rearview mirror (driver side) has a crack thanks to a salt truck. Anyways, I looked online and everybody wants to sell me the entire unit. I was just looking for the shell of the rearview mirror assembly. I was wondering of those of you that did the conversion and had the original shell. Do you want to sell it to me and how much? thanks. My car is dark grey by the way but color does not matter too much.

I was in the same boat, try to look at junk yards, there's a website, can't remember which one,
will search by part #. and i got a good price on entire mirror.
I had to buy entire mirror but only used mirror not casing, but you are not lucky, my was pass side, otherwise i could sell it to you.
Does any one know which wire to tap for the DRL wire as the version below? I followed exactly what T mentioned for the turn signal light to work but couldn’t figure out which wire I should tap for the DRL wire. I’d just need that to be tapped on the wire for Auto lights on if that make sense? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!
I installed last year and wired the parking lights to the illumination wire for the window switches in each door. I think it’s a green wire but should multimeter it.
I ran ran the turn signals all the way to the turn relay next to steering column. Single wire each side and grounded inside each door b

greetings . thanks in advance. Following your steps great info. just need to know where did you ground ? Im doing the wiring in advance cause i ordered the ones mstyle w blinkers for my 08
