Default LED DRL flicker solution?

Sup guys, not sure if there's a thread about this already but I was just on VLEDs site and came across this. http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/P...d/0/SFV/32481# Says it will eliminate that flicker that some people are having with LED DRLs. Anyone think this will work with HIDs?

Lol no prob at all. I e-mailed them about a month ago asking if this would work with HIDs to be used as DRLs and they said it would work. But now just waiting on another e-mail for confirmation.

Not really ..... these are the SMT leds like your city lights...so in the day it's not overpowering at all.

Well, just got a reply from VLEDs and apparently it will work for HIDs to be in DRL mode. Just FYI, I myself probably will not be doing this mod. Here's the e-mail.

The submitted form fields are:

cmd: emailform

selSubject: General Product Question

Message: Hi, I just notice that you guys have the DRL module now. I was
wondering if this will work with an HID kit as DRLs? Thanks

Yes and you only need one if you use a relay harness, we have them for 9.99,
just specify the bulb part number.

I have successfully done this mod myself.

Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Thank you,

How do you connect the power cable? To where? And is there enough space behind the cover to put this whole thing inside?

Well one end goes to the harness and the other plugs into the bulb. But I just went outside and checked. To me looks like might have to get a little creative in placing it somewhere.

That's what I thought. There is little space in there to begin with. I've changed the DRLs twice and they were both painful experiences trying to put my hand in there.

If you look at a picture of the module it doesn't appear to be any bigger then the connecting terminals. I don't think it'll be a problem. If y'all would like I'll let you know what I did with mine they should be here on Monday.
