No ... i've since upgraded to the the 64 series ... a little bit bluer then the ones you have ...they are noticeably brighter as well ...

You get what you pay for when it comes to LED's...

$70 for LEDs is a bit much for me, if not anyone. I'll stick with something from Vleds

I have both the PIAA's and the polargs, maybe its not the same as yours but after trying all the different bulbs, the flanks are brighter. The 27 smt and the flanks are in the car, threw out the 11 smt's. so no direct pics of those.

It was raining thats why the headlights were wet.

You can see that it lights up the floor even with the street lamps on.

I would just get a pair of high powered flanks from Warden_JP on ebay and call it a day. its about 6-8bucks shipped a pair, and they are pretty much as bright as the stock bulbs, which is sufficient IMO.

Yiujai86, are you talking about the VLED flanks?

if so they do not fit very well in the 2IS puddles.... the way the housing is set up...there's just not enough room.

as for the 27SMT...mine burned out in the city light housing after 3 months, three of the SMT's started flickering...and then six....then it became a night club in my headlamp

Definitely, 2 of my flanks are from Ebay and they are just as bright as the one's from V-Leds. Except one of them was very very slightly yellowish compared to the rest.

I am not sure what the VLED ones look like, but the warden_jp ones i got on ebay are the same foot print as a regular bulb, and have one sideways firing LED. they fit inside the housing fine as they are not larger than a regular bulb.

oh i see, i guess if you have an 2IS, either get the polargs or the 5 refractors. My 27 smts are still running after 7 months

yes unfortunately there is a bit of a variance with the colors. what I did was match then up as best as i could in the domes and called it a day. i figured the puddle lamps should not matter too much as you dont see both at the same time for the most part,

im stickin wit the polargs for awhile. gotta get some other issues resolved at the moment and i dont feel like opening the mirrors again, not yet anyways. looks good i might get the flanks then and try it out and use it on the side steps as well with the clear lens. after the winter is over i'll start on that with some other mods in mind.

The flank 3rd from the left. Same size as the polarg/oem bulb.
