1) How much is MPG on IS250??

I m trying to decide which used car I should get... IS250 or RX350.
I think that RX350 has 17-19 mpg...

2) I want a black car.... really badly... I love the black RX350 but I've been wanting a sedan because its a lot easier to drive and park... I like the IS too but I like the charocal color the best on IS... more than the black one... \

I m not sure about "too much of red tailllights" on black cars... I was wondering what does black IS looks with a super light light light smokey vinyl on the taillights on it... like making it dark red taillights?? I know I am weird... but i like the charocal and regular red color together better than black with regular red taillughts...



so what do you think i should do??

right now i'm running 24mpg, 50/50..my milage went up since i've been running royal purple. also there isn't many flat roads around here, so you on the gas or off of it. if i'm on it maybe 21 50/50 and i really have to be on it. side note i am an awd so i'll be slightly less then the rwd.

I've been averaging 24, which mostly all city driving. Matching exactly what the stickers used to say before they made the 2007 revisions.

I have a friend who has an 250 and I believe he averages around 22 MPG for city and highway daily driving. I guess MPG could depend how much you drive and the way you drive.

I used to drive an RX and it was easy to drive and park. I enjoyed the RX because it was easy to transport friends, groceries, etc. Deciding on which car to get will probably depend on how big you family is etc.

When I got my iPod kit installed the dealer gave me an RX350 loaner and I must agree that the car is extremely comfortable and easy to drive and park. If I'm ever in the market for a crossover that car would probably be my first choice.

depends on driving habits. if you drive conservatively then u can get 350+ per tank. the best i did was around 385 prob 85% freeway.

I recently got 31 on the highway (relatively flat) fully loaded trunk and all four seats occupied, A/C on the whole time mostly averaging 70-75.
When brand new, my combined driving got 24.5 MPG usually, but has since gone to about 26 after being broken in. I'm very happy with those numbers!

BTW, these numbers are actual measured and calculated fuel use. I find the factory computer to be about 1.3-1.5 MPG too optimistic.

<---- almost all highway. Real miles per tank is probably 475-ish on a really good week.

Edit: I get about 30-32 mpg consistently. My coworker barely does better in her Civic Si.
