Hey you would have the added bonus of no holes drilled in the front bumper.

All of the IS's I looked at had HID but they all also had the premium and nav packages. I thought I read on here somewhere where non nav didn't have HID for 09? I don't know if that is true or not.

 

I just called and now they are telling me they do have it.

 

i just passed by my dealer today, he said HIDs will be available here in TX with the premium package even without the navi.. But my color is not yet available (starfire/black) here and no discounts will be given

 

did anyone find out if the steering lojic can be firmware updated?

 

which dealerships here in socal told you that? a guy at santa monica lexus was telling me that just the first initial shipment of the new 09's (the ones delivered to socal at least) were NOT gonna have HID's yet. I guess he was right, but could the 09's being shipped now and docking in socal be the more recent 250's with HID's, prem package, and NO nav?

and if socal isn't EVER going to get any 09's with HID's/NO nav, how much of a pain in the a** would be it be to bring one over from out of state (i.e. texas)?? according to the post above, NO navi/HID 09's are already available there.

 

The dealers told me that they will bring some HID on their next shipment. Amount a month from now. I called las vegas just to check and they told me they had it in premium, navigation with HID. Who knows they are lying.

 

ughhh.. a whole month from now?? well I know that some dealers (santa monica lexus) seem to get shipments a little bit earlier than some other dealers here in socal (south bay lexus) and hopefully the wait could be shorter. so they actually said that in about a month, they'd be getting shipments of '09 250's with NO nav/HID's/18's?? do you mind telling me which dealer and maybe they'll be getting my business a few weeks from now hehe.

 

im not sure about NO NAVID with HID. But beverly hills told me in a month. Longo said soon but not date specified.

 

o ok. I should call around again and ask if the 09's with NO NAV are ever getting HID's this model year. thanks for the info though.

 

i think by the end of the year they should have the entire lot with 09 and they will have more variety to choose from. As for now they lie about anything just to sell what they have in their lot.

 

you are very correct on this one, they even said to me that no discounts will be given to the 09 for at least 2-3 mos??? Who on the right mind will buy a car for MSRP esp that the economy is low and car sales are slumping

 

initial 2006 NAV you could pick from the 6 quick preset POI you have stored.

the subsequent update you couldnt.

do you mean that in 2009 you can pick from one of the 6 presets again, or you can pick from ANY of your stored presets while in motion?

 

I just mentioned this in another thread, but, it's something that I don't think anyone's mentioned yet in this monster thread.

The tail lights... they're not sitting nice and flush with the body, now. They buldge out of the body on the sides.
