That's the Japanese one. From what I hear at work, it will not be available in the US. And I have yet to see actual pictures of the US X Package lip....though there is a part # in our system...

As for the HID, I have tried the 'Build Your Lexus' link in the official website. When I enter a California zip code like 90004, it shows there is no HID option available. But when I try a Texas zip code like 77005, the HID option pops up. For my understanding, Texas always has the HID option since texas is big and has lots of wild, remote, and un-lighted (so dark) country road, lol

Wasn't the japenese kit and oem kit in US the same thing for 06-08? Why wouldnt they bring it here.

Otherwise im sure there will be ways to get it.

2008 (0 to 60): 5.3 seconds. 2009 (0 to 60): 5.6 seconds. Due to the added materials on the front and back ends and/or side mirrors and tail lights perhaps? Any ideas?

It's just a number, the car is more or less the same. Toyota/Lexus moved that number downward back in the first year of production and it doesn't actually make the production cars any faster (or slower) irrespective of the profound emotional impact it seems to have on potential owners. The cars simply are what they are.

PIcked up my 09 today..some things I noticed

I am uploading the pics now but wanted to mention some changes I noticed that have not been mentioned. The Ecru (tan) interior now has a brown dash, door trim, console and carpet but still has black floor mats and steering wheel

You can also pick POI on the nav while in motion, you just cant type in addresses. Will post some pics shortly.

Also got to drive the IS F today and I am in love

We got only 2,000.00 off msrp so around 26,800.00 before taxes. We also leased. Could have gotten a better deal but I wanted the glacier frost with navi which is hard to find right now.

Yes it has HID, also premium and nav packages.

I called 3 dealerships here in socal and non of them have 09 with HID except the 2008. Does that mean i need to order one from florida.?
