"redout" Vinyl's
 

So I just ordered some redout vinyl's for my IS and the vinyl's color didn't blend as well as I thought it would. Does anyone have any suggestion's as to where I could get some better matching vinyl and where I could just buy them myself besides ebay?

I just ordered redouts & fog vinyl overlays from Rvinyl. Some previous threads say they are the best fit & color, so I went with them. $45 shipped total. Haven't installed them yet though.

The Rvinyls are the best color match and the quality is very good. I've had them on for 9 months without any issues. The vinyls from Aerotect are a little darker red in color. However, they do make nice vinyls for foglight and headlight overlays.

Depends who you buy them from on ebay. Some people have had good results and some people haven't. Rvinyl for the win!

I've had Rvinyl's for some time now and for the money it is very good. But it is kinda dull for my taste. I'm thinking of getting the IS-F tails but of course it's a lot more $$$.

go with rvinyl and you cant go wrong:)

thanks for the info guys, can you tell me if these are already pre-cut to fit exactly or are they just similar and shape and I will further have to cut it to fit perfectly? the ebay ones weren't bad, but they didn't look as good as I have seen on other IS's with red outs which matched so well it was difficult to see the vinyl even after looking closely

pretty good fit. its slightly bigger than the orange part of the tail light.

I bought the ones off ebay and modified them a bit. They're perfect now with the color almost matching perfectly.

I bought the Aerotect ones, and they are a perfect match.

You can't even tell it's on there.

are the aerotect ones better than the rvinyl ones? I want mine to match as well as they do in the DIY and the ones I ordered on ebay were close by not close enough for my satisfaction so I ended up ripping them off.
