sorry to hear about this man. It really concerns me now that we have so many keying incidents in such a short amount of time. Plus it seems to be random too. Keep us updated.

alright..pics up!

edit: actually I have made an appointment with a bodyshop to paint and install my body kits. Perhaps I just ask the same shop to take care of this damage and let my insurance company pays for it. Of course I pay for my body kit job and the insurance pays for the scratch. I think CA guys would be familiar with the shop..it's ADS mobile at San Bruno. I will ask Phil to take care of this too..I'm sure his shop does a reputable job for this.

where in SC are you working anyway?
I work near great america pkwy. I've been to stevens creek/saratoga area, there are a bunch of big apartments there. i'll probably think twice about parking there now.

lol
I have a long key mark on my car. I figure that I can't keep my car looking perfect forever, and a super clean car attracts key-ers, so I just leave it there haha

yo bro.. i understand how you feel.. this is the 1st time for me too..feel like **** for the rest of the day.. but luckily my insurance took care of me and the shop did a great job repainting the door.. of course the paint doesn't match factory paint if you look very very closely..otherwise it is very good..

call your insurance man.. what's your deductible anyway?

damn that sucks man...my cousins's 08 IS250 rwd SGM was keyed after him having it for 1 month. Got some body shop to repaint his rear driver side door and blend it with the rear quarter panel. cost was $300 bucks and took 1 day...heh

in that case, will Lexus cover your cost?

250 bucks is ok I guess for a claim.. I got quoted 730 bucks for repaint. The shop did it and I just paid the deductible, which is 0. and my insurance premium does not increase, so yeah no cost overall. just wasted my 1 week of time..
