About to change oil on 250, Phoenix AZ. Long time AMSOIL user, 10-40 OK or will the increased oil pressure be a bad thing for this engine?

i guess 10w-40 is fine if you travel more than 100 mph all the time D:

I'd stick with 5w-20 or 5w-30 like the factory recommends for regular daily driving

 

what about full synthetic?

It gets reaaaaal hot, and 90% of our driving is city, so the heaviest safe weight is what I'll use, 5-30 it is then.

I have a friend who put 20-50 in a new car of his a couple years ago and immediately blew the seals out of it....
...So I know that overkill on oil wieght is not a good thing!
