Default Selling my IS350 How much WORTH

So I am sad to say that I am selling my 2006 IS350 sport pkg. How much do you suppose its worth and how should I go about selling it?!?

Basic Specs:
Jet Blk
aftermarket Eclipse Nav
Tanabe exhaust
19'' 3 piece rims,
23000 miles
6000k HID
cashmere interior

Im guessing Its worth at least 30,000 if not more, dealerships are trying to give me only 24-26, What should I do and how should I go about selling it ASAP!!!

thanks for your advice

My opinion...

It is definitely NOT worth more than 30K, especially considering what seems like urgency on your part to sell the car.

Sad to say, you're not going to get a lot of value on your mods, and in this economic environment, people aren't exactly that keen to buy a 30K used car considering all the 0% and 0.9% financing type deals floating out there.

I think taking it to something like CarMax is better than the hassle of showing your car to private parties. And it's a quicker solution.

i say 30k is reasonable... part out all your stuff especially the rims and exhaust... put the car back to stock... you'll probably make a little over 30 if you do that.

a little over 30k including all your mods since you don't have original nav and stuff

Agreed with others
Part out your aftermarket parts and return it to stock.
Make some money off those parts (because if you leave them on, they'll only be worth less)

Try to get around 28k for your car after that's all said and done, assuming everything else is in proper working condition!

Good luck !

a Stock car will attract more potental buyers than a modded one.

OT:

Nah, unless you are a business and can write off the lease payments, or have a job/lifestyle where it's important to be seen in a new-ish car, buying and holding is much better than leasing, as an owned car's costs in years 3 to 7,8 for a car that's still got plenty of life will be much lower on a second lease for another new car.

Actually, it's been said that the best deal in cars is to buy a 3 year old used car and sell it at 7 years old, but there is something to be said (vainly) for having a new car.

But yes, the worst thing you can do is buy a car, mod it, then sell it in less than 2 years...

You should be able to get $30k. The dealer is owning you.

If you go to Edmunds.com and use their appraisal tool to enter in your zip code, mileage, options, etc. it will give a pretty good estimate of value for trade-in, private party sale, or dealer retail. You didn't really get specific about your factory options, so I just selected NAV and 18 Inch alloy wheels, and it came back with a trade-in value of just $24K. You could get a couple thousand more if you sell it privately through the paper or Auto Trader.

I totally agree with everyone else above that you really need to remove as much of the aftermarket stuff as you can, and sell them separately. Modded cars are worth LESS than stock ones.

I'd say $26k-$27k at most. Considering I got mine for $30k with 19k miles in mint condition with NAV+ML+Sport. Also you'll get more stock than modded by parting out and selling the mods separately. Also much more demand for stock vehicles

yea I agree here...if you are not happy with the car part off the wheels and stuff and you are getting a fair price. maybe 1~2k more if you are lucky. you have low miles and thats a plus but its a TOYOTA and most wont care about that an 07 is 30~33 on trade in my area on avg and good book trade is 35k. This is why I am looking My lease buy out is right in line already!

I got mine for $29K with 16,000 miles in mint condition beginning of this year. If you sell privately, you will end up negociating the price to the same range as dealers.
