Default Lexus IS350 F-Sport wheels....lighter means how much faster?

I went up to the lexus dealership today and asked about the F-sport wheels (not the ones on the IS F, but the new ones offered as an accessory on lexus web page)
The guy said these weigh half as much as the stock wheels. I believe these forged 19 inch wheels weigh about 22 pounds only. so the stock wheels would be 44 of course.
my question is, how much faster can an IS350 be with these F-sport wheels compared to stock wheels?

Save your bucks. A lot of people trying to get out oem wheels.
You won't get significant boost by changing to lighter wheels.

I don't think it would make your car go that much faster. Especially for the amount of money you are paying for. Tires are also going to be heavier too at 19 inch.

According to the Sewell Lexus site the standard 18", G-spider & X wheels weigh 27.5 lbs each I think the 8.5 wheel weighs 27.75

Don't forget a bigger tire may erase any weight savings

At fsport.com, it says the stock wheel weights are 26.0 and 26.5 lbs. while the F-Sport wheels are 20.5 and 21.5 lbs.

Don't lighter wheels have a greater effect because of reduced rotational mass?

Reduction in unsprung weight (wheels) will improve handling.

Saving a few pounds on each wheel won't make a huge difference in performance. You might notice a little improvement in steering response and overall handleing, but not much. Of course it is always preferable to reduce unsprung weight, then to add too it, so lighter wheels are always the better choice.

The fact that wheels are lighter, in this case 6 pounds less or so is not the point. I talked to an expert, he owns a shop and has drifting and drag racing teams, and he told me is about how much weight does the drivetrain need to move. so 5 pounds less per wheel would be a big deal.

Of course these guys deal with 10 second cars and they kill themselves to go down .1 of a second
