Anyone notice Random isn't so random. (CD player problem)
 

Hey guys, I've been making/using wma cds (only cuz I can fit more per cd) and I noticed that if I enable "random" it seems to play the same 10-20 songs over and over. Mind you, I have about 200 songs per cd.....every now and then I'll find a song on the CD that I never knew I had cuz the random never played it...
Just wondering if it's just me or have other people noticed this also?

Ive noticed that the next track wont actually be random unless you listen to the entire song you are currently on and let the radio change the track.

Yup, I've noticed that too... I think out of 100 songs, it'll play the same 5-10 tracks several times...

I've noticed that as well. Every time your turn off and start your car, or turn off the radio or change sources and go back to the disc, it resets itself so it doesn't know what songs it has played recently. I do notice that on my way to and from work (a 30 minute drive each way) I hear the same songs and sometime close to the same order. Random? Probably not...
