They've been around a while, I had some of their chassis brace pieces on my suby, good quality, fairly inexpensive.

I have heard of them. My car previous to the IS was a WRX, and GTSpec makes lots of chassis/braces parts for the WRX/STi. I personally never ran any of the GTSpec parts but some of the WRX/STi owners with ran them. From what I was told the parts were average to good quality.

GTSPEC is one of the company that makes great suspension products. They're both aesthetically nice and functional.

I'm in the process of doing an extensive review of their chassis braces as well as strut bars once the parts arrived.
