Carputer (carPC) on our 2IS with touch screen, possible???

While I was doing some researches on carputer, I found that oem nav can be used as a touch screen for pc or mac. Of course, you need some modifications, but it actually works. Hopefully someone can make it work on our nav. some days.

hardware modification is not my thing, if I do it, i'll just use this control for the mouse : http://www.3dconnexion.com/3dmouse/spacenavigator.php

Thats nice!

The Acura NAVI blows ours away all day long. I think you can do a lot of those features with the Visatech unit and use your phone to display on the screen?? I saw someone on here had that done. Probably a lot less work then what this person went thru!!

Nice find...

a lot of the sc guys have carputer's done to there car there was once recent one where Habious was able to add gauges to the screen

i dont see why it wont work on our 2ISs if it works on a new SC430

LOL i think he took a picture of his NAvi while someone hold the fone facing the backup camera haha, you can see his finger on the screens lol :D

I thought someone had already turned the navi in the 2IS into a screen for a carputer. I'm pretty sure I've seen it. They said the resolution of the screen wasn't all that great. Don't remember much else though.
