Default got my first lexus mod :-(

it's sad. the first thing i had to buy for my is250 is a can of touch up paint. i had some little scratches on my hood. have anyone else had this problem? they are real small and thin. maybe from rocks or something on the highway from dumbass suv's and trackertrailers

Bought my car used and it also had chips on there. Clear bra is your friend.

I agree....$600. for a clear bra......you're better off going to a super market and buying surrand wrap on sale.......this is all part of a DIY that I am coming up with...just leave it to the MASTERMIND

Depending on where you are, you may be able to find someone to do it for less than that.

I suggest calling around and letting the shops you talk to know that you have a whole list of clear bra shops in front of you to help you get the best price possible.

Yes, Lexus paint is soft and I often am outside fixing rock chips on the weekend. I wish I did the clear bra when the car was new. Rock chips are inevitable and the 2gen paint seems extra soft.

ya, once you get your paint chips you can almost nearly remember hearing the sales person, "did you want us to apply the clear bra?"

Rock chips are a way of life down here in South Florida with all the dump trucks on the Turnpike. At first, it made my heart sink seeing them.

Then I came to realize, it's gonna happen. I was looking at ECR's car who bought the clear bra, and he has a rock scrape on his bumper in the one section NOT covered by the clear bra.

If it gets too fugly for me in a couple of years, I'll have the front bumper re-sprayed.
