ur in a 250.. no need to race anyone.. if ur in a 350... and its a car worth racing then i would always go for it, dont buy a fast car and drive it slow..

I rev back (HKS Hi-power helps this illusion), usually to 3K rpm, sit up straight, give the other person a steely, knowing staredown, and then.......

watch them gun it with a smoky clutch drop as I mosey off the line lazily.

No street racing!

If people want to race then go to the track. I dont think any public road way or where there is traffic is a good place to race. I dont do it...i dont care if its a 350, IS-F, Lambo, mcclaren F-1 formula car what ever the car is its not good to street race especially in local street. There might be people crossing without looking or jaywalkers.

ok i will admit that i do "race" but will hit the breaks when i reach 5-7 mph over the speed limit. since cops usaully let you go 5 over, I really don't consider it being illegal because its not against the law to reach the speed limit as fast as your car could.

speaking of "racing", I was in my mother's RX330 last night and this Acura CL (rims, exhaust, intake....bla bla bla) was reving the crap out of his car and inching up at the red light. Well all I can say is when I reached 55 and started to break, i was 2 full cars front of him and wanted to ask him how it felt to lose to a soccor mom SUV. But unfortunately, he stayed behind the whole ride.

I know the feeling! Mine got 20s on and every kid want to race me. Its the only time i miss my M3... but from time to time and in the right conditions i floor it but only if i know that ill smoke him.

P.S. Thats why my next birthday present will be a IS350 or maybe under the rigth conditions a IS-F but lets see....

i bought my car to cruise, not to race, other wise i'd get a 350. Also the reason i don't want to put an exhaust on yet, because that will definitly attract racers. and a mazda 3 wanted to race me one day, i thought he gone crazy.

To be totally honest, most cars that try to race me are out of their league. My standard sub-4k RPM acceleration is usually more than enough to put all that behind me, quite literally.

Every red light when out in front is a race to the speed limit whether there is a car beside me or not. I don't have much control I guess, the whole point of me owning a 350 was to accelerate faster. Even when I owned a 146hp Eclipse only one or twice did another car pass me off the line, maybe its cause I don't provoke the drivers beside me, and when provoked I don't look or take any action until the light is green.

This car draws attention. I ignore them at the lights. But, I do love on-ramps!
