Default Painted Grill Opinion

So I thought I'd get your opinions. I want to paint my grill this week. But I'm not sure which way to go. I have the Smokey Granite, and eventually want to go with some dark wheels, and I have dark tint. I'm not sure if it would look better to paint the grill the same color as the car, or if I should match the dark metalic color on the inside of the grill. Either way, I will leave the Lexus emblem chrome for now. So what do you guys think?!

On the black and smoky granite, the grill painted dark looks great IMO. Some CL members have even painted the chrome strip around the windows. Dark rims always blend well with darker colors.

Someone should photoshop the options...

For those who are unimaginative...

Well there are a couple people with the paint match on the Smokey Granite, but I have not seen the dark metalic on this color. So a photoshop would be cool.

Not sure if I am going to do it now with the rims I have it looks okay. If I was going for the blk out look then I would have it done. May change my mind and have that done and the emblems taken off and holes plug????

I think I want to maybe try one last mod on my car haha...that is if another member wants to work with me on $$$

I painted mine this past week, I'll post pics soon. I have an SGM and I tried to make the grill black pearl using the Duplicolor Metalcast. I put on too many coats, now it looks almost like a titanium color....very similar to the color of the grill insert. I think it looks really good, much better than the chrome. I also did my rear emblems...it looks way better now... pics coming soon.

OK, one thing that sucks... I have only had it on with the painted frame for one week. I already have a few rock chips. Soooo, for anyone doing this, you might want to make sure you put a clear bra material over the grill.
