I got these little circle dots or specks on the temperature and audio display glass panel in the center console in which I have no idea where they originated from. I have tried all kinds of glass cleaners and solutions to no success hoping to remove them. Will I be able to replace these small rectangular glass panels? It's not a big deal but it makes a month old car look dirty.

NO NO glass cleaner, it contains amonia which will fade and cloud the plastic. Go ahead and use a car wax like Zymol and rub lightly. it will look just like new. It is an old detailers trick.

Which zymol wax should I use?
Thanks Brian, I looked up the zymol wax products and there is a lot to choose from. Should I just get the zymol detail wax?

This is all you need!!! You can buy it at Wal-Mart or Target for $13. I love it on the paint. Works wonders if you use a little bit on the factory wood consol (not titanium pastic). I use this on the non-nav radio platic displays. All you need is a little.

Hope it gets the spots out, thanks!
If this doesn't work, I'll have to replace the plastic.

Warrenty buddy, just make sure to use little wax, it does not take much to make this plastic look new with Zymol. It should take care of your plastic interior piece unsightly ailment.

Zymol didn't work..
Hi Brian, I bought zymol wax right after work and applied it on the plastic but did not have any effect on the spots.. I just got some blue left overs in between the buttons. I also dropped by a detailer and they told me there's nothing they can about it. very frustrating. at least I found out the source of the spots today. it was perfume sprayed in the wrong direction by my wife.. Do you think the dealer would have the plastic panel as a separate part for me to purchase?

Unforetunately, if the acidic fragrance spray pitted the plastic, the only option is replacement. If you are in good with your service advisor, I would let him look at it. I would also not mention the spray (LOL). Try to convince him it is a defect of some sort and make sure to clean off the wax. It is probably worse than I had initially imagined based on your concern. Those faces for the radio and Heating/AC controls would have to be replaced as a whole unit, they do not part those items out unforetunately.

Use of vinegar to remove stain?
As my quest to find a solution for the removal of spots continues, my research came across an interesting suggestion. Using vinegar, which is acidic, mixed with water and detergent to remove the alcohol and oil make of the perfume. Should I try this method or would it damage the plastic beyond repair? Would you advise against this method Brian?

You may want to spot test this carefully. I belive that the perfume may have been acidic enought o have burned and pitted the plastic. In that event, you should replace (try talking the dealer into it by playing dumb), or deal with the unsightly surface. Maybe you can post some pics.

At this point you dont have much to loose. I would make a mild mix of vinegar and water first to see what that does. I still think you should go to the back by the car wash/detail area at your lexus dealer and ask them to try to clean that. If this can come out in anyway they have all that stuff there. figure they see this on new cars and used cars and they have to figure ways to clean things like this before they replace them.
