Default TPMS Warning

I've had the car exactly 1 year and so far the TPMS warning has come on once. I would like to know how many times has it come on for you?

Every morning for me HAHA...i have a low stock rim/tire and have winter rims and tires w/o TPMS on the car so when they link up to my car in the garage i have a low tire!! so i get the lighted dash or the low tire light everyday!! lol...

other then that they are sensitive where i am in Chicago they seemed to go off quite a bit. i believe its a 1 psi difference that will set it off? not postive on that.....

i will take your once!

TPMS is designed to go off at 3 PSI drop. You can set your rating lower or higher via the analogue guage cluster and it is similar to re-setting for oil changes. Check the manual on this, it should be easy. It is nice having this feature, but when theses sensors start to die, hopefully we are all under bumper to bumper.

Not yet...but give it time. I am good at running over nails and other tire damaging stuff in the road!

Mine came on as it should...

My rear tire had a nail so the pressure dropped... It was near 25lbs...
I checked 3 tires with air guage before i found the 4th one had low pressure.. Quick visual @ 5:30am did not show the problem tire..

Did it for a few days till I had the time to repair it.. (slow leak)

Good thing my neighbor had an air tank handy..

The TPMS batteries should last approx 7-10 years... as they are not monitoring every second of the day..

To my knowledge the batteries are not replaceable.. which means new sensors eventually..
