Default 2008 Lexus IS350

I just ordered a new lexus and it should be here soon. I got something called an x pkg and can't fina any pics on it. I know it adds some type of ground effects, wheeks, etc, but can't get a clear pic of this car. Anyone know about this or have one?

Any help would be appreaciated. My husband is driving me crazy about it!

Here's a few photos of an xpkg. You'll also have a stiffer suspension set-up. Congrats on the new car.

Hate to state the obvious, but you should really try to test drive the car you are going to buy before you buy it. I hope it is everything you hoped for, but it will have a bit stiffer suspension, special 5 spoke wheels and a gfx package.

Congrats!

Welcome ...... nice selection ....

Here is what you get with the X-package:
Available with the following exterior colors:
- Tungsten Pearl
- Smoky Granite Mica
- Obsidian
Sport-tuned suspension (0.5" lower than stock)
Aluminum sport pedals
Illuminated doorsill scuff plates
Aerodynamic front air dam
Exclusive 18-inch five-spoke alloy wheels

From the outside it looks like any other IS except for the front air dam and the 5 spoke wheels

Thanks for the quick responses. They have helped us out. I am getting out of an 05 M3. I drove the IS350 and liked it, really looking forward to the sportier ride of the x pkg. We had just never seen the car in person, but again, thanks for all the feedback and photos.

My husband feels much better now that we picked the x pkg vs. the conventional IS350.

Not the Lexus one...if any...for about half the price you pay for teh Lexus HKS, there is a Hi Power HKS available that will give you some power increase...I think about 15hp....

no.. more like 5hp, and the Hipower HKS sounds very different then the Lexus HKS, its a lot louder so check out some sound clips (there all over Youtube) of the Lexus HKS and the Hi power.

Lets not go crazy now....the e46 M3 was and is one of the best performance machines on the market. We all love our Lex's....but try to be objective.

he wasn't discrediting it's performance, he was just saying it's unreliable lol, which is true, i have 2 friends with e46 M3s and every other week i hear one taking his in for suspension issues another one for electrical.
