I wonder why Lexus whon't offer any incentives on the AWD IS250 up there? I know the Canadian doller is stronger than the US dollar right now. Subsequently, AWD should still be cheaper than US market.

There is a price cut for AWD IS250 and IS350 as well. I waited for months, gambling on the fact that there may be a bigger price cut coming, looks likes it's finally time for me to get a RWD IS250.

Will Lexus keep the free maintenance too?

Let's hope the U.S. arm of the corporation follows suit. :)

Wow .... IS350 is $6000 cheaper (incl taxes, shipping etc).

Unfortunately, that means those of us with 250/350's just took a cut in trade/selling value as well ....

Since Canadian dollars are stronger than the USD so that means an IS350 is worth $65k there? :eek2: Yikes, that is IS-F money in the states.

Oh well, for free healthcare!

i cant imagine a us price cut since canadian dollars are 1 for 1 roughly with US dollars the canadian models are still way higher than us models...

I am just curious, if Lexus drops the price on New Vehicle, would that mean Used Dealerships would have to drop something on their vehicle?

It is all about demand (and supply) on the used market. Back when the last generation IS300s were out the unloved Sportcross models were selling with incentives well below invoice and I just saw a CERTIFIED one offered at Lexus of Stevens Creek for about $1200 less than what the same car was selling for brand new three years ago. Crazy! I know it doesn't mean that they are going to get that price but the fact that they would ask it boggles the mind.

Before people start saying how much they hate Canada, they should first realize that we have been basically bent over for decades over car prices. Even to this date, we are still paying much more for our cars than people do in the US, and for pretty much everything thing else as well. My cousin lives in California and when he came down here, he was commenting on how crappy everyone's car was and how rare it was to see a 7-series. Then I told him that the price we pay for a camry is what they pay for a 328i. and the price we pay for a 7 series is what they would pay for a.... i guess 911 turbo? So please, these cuts are long overdue. Just to give you guys a taste of what it costs up here. I got my 2006 IS 250AWD in march of '06. I got the premium leather/sunroof package which is basically the heated/vented seats with a sunroof and 17" rims. that came up to about 58k on the road and that was with a $1,500 discount!!
