Default Center Console Frustration

I dont know if it's just me or if anyone has had any problems with the design of opening and closing the center console. I find myself not being able to put much of anything inside because it tends to get stuck from the inside. I dont know why the console doen't just open from front to back.

This complaint is almost as bad as the trunk lid opening only a few inches with button pushed.

While the center armrest is a little small, the only time i have trouble closing it is when I try and stuff too much crap in there.

I don't get why you should have to slide it back to open it

The reason it slides is because you can leave it open, to access the cup holder/ipod and still use the arm rest.

Hah!!! I love the George Costanza wallet and when it broke with the guitar lesson add!!! The center console is a pain, it holds nothing really. It is very easy to jam. Also, they should have put the I-Pod dock stero jack port somewhere else. You can't really close that thing with it plugged in.

hehe, funny there is a thread on this because it is one of those little things that always seems to happen if you have stuff stored in there. If it gets wedged on something, good luck.

I almost broke mine trying to open it several times a while ago. CD's were always a problem.

Solution: I keep about 50% capacity or less of stuff in there.
