Default Help Needed!!!

Last night i was installing my new smt leds in my city lights and when i tried to remove the passenger side one to re-adjust it, it caught on the lip of the hole in the housing and fell behind the reflective partition in the headlight housing. Is there an easier way to remove the light housing than to have to take the complete bumper off? its not making a rattling noise or anything yet but it is driving me crazy thinking about it. Any suggestions on how to get that little son of a ***** out will be appreciated. i cant believe my dumb *** did that!

only way is to remove the front bumper and headlight which you could check out the DIY threads for help. then shake it out...

no easy way bud... but once you have that done you could change the turn signals to white... make sure you buy the bulbs first of course

This happened to me too, and alas, I also had to remove the bumper, remove the headlight, and shake it out...

Try and tie a little magnet to some heavy thread and see if you can make contact with the metal parts on the bulb.

I've never tried what all you have done so I'm not sure it this would work, but if you get one of those little "rare earth" magnets from Radio Shack and adhere it to a string, maybe you can "fish" it out.

I'm just thinking "out typing" here.

Good luck.

can you see the bulb? maybe you can fish it out with a magnet. one of my led bulbs fell out of the socket but i could see it in the headlight. luckily my dad has a magnet on the end of a bendable stick... i was able to fish it out.
