any downsides to drilling a whole in your head light to install a drl module if done correctly?(meaning sealed the hole as good as possible)

I did a search but I couldn't find a step-by-step with pics. If anyone knows the link pls link me. I'm gonna attempt to do this soon. One of my LED parking lights burnt out after 8 months

I had someone help me before, but now I want to try doing it myself.

just did it without removing anything super easy just used this video to show me how to pop off covers.

Thanks for the excellent instructions. Replaced the following:
- stock hids out. 5000k in
- stock parking lights out. 5smd leds in.
- stock halogen fogs out. 5000k leds in.

does anyone know a vendor that carries both parking lights and low beam of same color?

so far none of my setups have the same color output with same color temp b/c i got them from different vendors..

Probably one of the easiest mods I have ever done. Took me about 20 minutes. I found the passenger side/intake side was much easier than the driver/windshield wiper fluid side. I thought I had big hands apparently not as I didn't need to take anything out except driver side. Take your time when putting back the black covers and make sure they line up.

I didn't want to do this mod but my fiance said no to the 2012 LED headlight conversion.
