Never wash your car?

I wouldn't feel comfortable using wipes to wipe off dirt from the car.... especially after rainy season.

Looks nice. How much did it cost you? What would happen when you remove it? Is it similar to Clear Bra material but in Black Color?

If I had a white car, or any light color car, i would do the same.

I think it just looks horrible to have a black tinted window and with a block of "OFF" color seperation.

This makes it all mesh together

I also wipe it down when i dont drive the car... every morning if theres gecko dookie on it... when im bored... hell all the time everyday

Javier that looks very nice!! Can you please tell us undeducated people (in terms of vinyl) about how your roof was done. Does someone just glues on vinyl? Is it reversible? Please let us know when you get a chance! Thanks!

Well, in SoCal, it rains about 3 times a year... and like I said before, I have covered parking both at work and at home. The only thing that my car does get on it is dust. So before I wipe it down, I dust it with a California Duster, and then I use the Meguiar's UQD with a huge Meguiar's microfiber that I turn on each side of the car.

Some people are getting quiotes for $300 for a vinyl roof job??? Wow, I could get it painted for that much. The shop I used wouldn't charge you any more than $100.

It's exactly like applying ClearBra. The car's roof is sprayed with a soapy water and the sheet of vinyl is then laid on. It's then parked in the sun for about an hour for the sun to heat it up, and from then on, it's exactly like installing ClearBra. A plastic squeege is used to flatten out the vinyl and get any bubbles out, and it's then trimmed with an exacto knife, and the ends are carefully tucked around the sunroof and the edges of the roof itself.

No orange peel at all - I was fully expecting a dull/orange-peely surface, so I'm very impressed with the finished product.
