Default Anybody change their DRL bulbs?

I just recieved my MTEC order of a pair of H11,9005 and 9006 Super Whites.
Would like to get away from the yellow DRL to a whiter light also.
What's available?
Also, are the DRL's on when the headlights are on?I never noticed.

On the DRLs, I don't think you can get a whiter light unless you swap to LEDs. And when headlights turn on, DRLs off and parking light comes on.

Thanks,AzNLeX250.
I guess I'll just stay with the stock bulbs for now.I'm glad the DRL's are off with the lights on.No yellow with the white.

I thought the DRLs were the parking lights at 20% output?

Pardon my confusion but if like I've read here drl's are just highbeams run at a lower voltage, will changing my highbeams stock bulb to a 9005 4350K make the drl white?
Will I lose my highbeams?

No.

So by just by going with the MTEC 9005 highbeam upgrade,I don't have to do anything to have a whiter DRL.

Thanks,Joe.

Hardly whiter DRL I would have to say. I switched my DRLs to 6000k and its not a significant difference.

Theoretically yes... Just be careful of the wattage on the MTEC..

It shouldn't be a lot more than OEM bulb..

No problem

I bought MTEC H11 lows,9005 highs and 9006 fogs.
They're said to be Super Whites.
I don't know how white they'll be.

I guess it depends on what bulbs you use..

Mine look a lot better then the OEM bulbs for sure...

* But then again I am also running Blue Aerotect Film on my heads & fogs..

I put a nice set of Polarg M4's in my city lights...(non Led)
A nice set of Falcon "HID Look" bulbs for DRL's.. (non Led)
Yellow Nokya Fog Light bulbs

City Lights - ON

City Lights & DRL's - ON (during normal operation)

City Lights & OEM HID's - ON

City Lights, OEM HID's & Yellow Fogs - ON

Enjoy
