Default HID conversion driving car kookoo?

Okay so here's the issue. I have halos, stock HID low beams (with 8000K replacement bulbs) and 3000K hid fog conversion.

So awhile back my halos went out and i guess someone told me there was a loose wire somewhere but whenever we checked the fuses it said something about front right fog. So then yesterday i was driving and i turned on my headlights and fogs while listening to the radio and it caused SO much static that nothing can be heard on the radio so i decided to turn off my fogs, and the radio becomes clear again.

Has anyone else had problems with a HID fog conversion interfereing with other things?? because im not sure what to do now... take off the HID fogs? because i think that's what is causing my radio to go bazzerk and causing my radio to be unlistenable.

any input or help would be great!!

thanks

Why convert fogs to 3000° K HID when 4100° K Sylvania SilverStars are a direct plug-in?

you should run a separate wiring harness for the HID so that it'll draw current from the battery and not using the fog harness itself.

You need to rewire all your hid equipment and halos. If your getting static then your getting feedback to ground. This is a big problem because HIDs are AC current not DC. This feedback can fry you cars alternater and battery. (I know I'll get flamed on this ,BUT) I used to have neons on all my cars (you know back in the 80's) Well I found out the hard way about mixing AC and DC current. Went through a few alternaters and alot of misc. hardware on my old cars. Always ground everything to the frame.
