True but I rather spend money that make me happy and satisfy the car.. I dont like throw money for nothing and use car for nothing..

$556 a month My last ride was an 04 350Z and I was only paying $286 a month. I put a huge chunk down on the Z but that think depreciated like a **** so I didnt have as much to put down on the IS. Persoanlly I hate the payment, but I love the car. So I guess it balances out.

meaning.... just because you CAN pay cash for the car, it would be a dumbarse idea to do so....

2007 IS350 pretty well optioned out.
$20k down in cash
$470 a month.

I'm pretty amazed that people don't do more research (ie basic math) about payments before deciding to buy a nice car. At the very least, everyone should read these threads before buying a car so they can figure out what they're getting in to.

First thing I did after graduating was pay off my student loans, they weren't too bad but i'll be darned if i keep paying them interest. Next on the list was a nice car. I knew exactly what I wanted, what i was putting down and what my payments would be. Almost 45k (all said and done) seemed like a pretty big number (I'm 26 and in my first proper job after grad school, my last car was a beater) but $470 a month is nothing so I went for it.
