Default Question about ipod!

Hey guys my iPod recently has been acting up and being like a normal iPod would... breaking on you lol. So wut has happened is that my iPod's headphone jack is messed up in some odd way and i need to keep twisting the headphone jack until i find the right spot where both the left and the right side of the sounds come out... so i was wondering if there was anyone one who had an idea on where i can find more of this kind of product since i am way to lazy to go get my iPod fixed... and plus its out of warranty so i would have to pay to get it fixed... :\

Use this ..... a big improvement. You'll bypass the relatively crummy headphone amp circuitry, and not have to fiddle with the volume control on your iPod.

while personally i really hate monster goods because of how ridiculously over priced they are, i honest am in love with this cable. it fits perfectly in the arm rest opened or closed because of the low profile design, and lets us charge our ipods n get audio out all from the dock.

do you know if that works with 1st gen ipod Nano? it say in the product site that it doesn't support syncing through firewire for the nano but i don't need syncing i just need the audio to work with aux port. can anyone who has a nano and this cable confirm if it works or not?

I don't have a Nano so I can't confirm if it will work. But someone else will chime in, I'm sure.

Connect the line out connector to the bottom of your iPod and the jack to the outlet in the console. The other connection is redundant and is not needed. I've zip tied the two wires together to keep it neater, and since the gizmo is a tad short I use a two foot extension cable so I can hold the iPod in front of me to change albums/songs. The difference in sound quality is easily discerned and you won't get overload like you can sometimes get using the headphone jack on the top of the iPod.
