has anyone been brave enough to take apart the headlights? I am wanting to get rid of the amber lighting near the fender to make it clear and a more cleaner look. pics would be much apprciated. Thanks.

It looks like it can be painted over, but not removed.

I had a black accord i painted the housings black and it was a lot of work. It looks like it's an even bigger project for the IS. I won't be painting the housing on my IS. I didn't care for the way it appeared to change the stance of my accord. So I won't be opening up the headlights just to get at the reflector.
