I just made this thread to see what others thought of the car. I really dont care as long as i personally like the car i dont care what others will think but i've been many conversations when this specific topic and i thought it would be something worth getting the people of CL to comment about.

Is the ISx50 a "chick" car?
I was in mixed company at a dinner party this evening and the conversation among a few guys (most of whom I didn't know) drifted toward automobiles. One guy in particular (who proudly revealed he owned a Porche and a Hummer) made a point of asking each person what they drove.
When asked, I answered "A Lexus". "What kind?" he followed. "An IS350" I said. To which he exclaimed, "Dude, that's a girls car!... Give it to your wife." At first, I thought I'd be offended, but it honestly rolled right off my back. "Good to know, I'll make a note...
," I told him.
I've been so happy with my first month of IS350 ownership that not much of anything could get under my skin regarding this car. Has anyone else had their ISx50 referred to as a "chick mobile"? What kind of exchange did it lead to?

I don't think so. I don't see many 2IS in my area but the ones I noticed were driven by guys.

Pshh...Studies say male drivers who own porsche always cheat on their wives. Porsches can also be a womens car also..That's just dumb to assume that. oOhh driving a hummer...big deal...very many, my 16 year old friend owns one. So WHAT!? Tell him he's full of himself..

You should've replied back with... "Well you know... The Hummer is a Douche Bag car... maybe you should give it to your douche bag boyfriend". Really though, MOST people who buy that fugly piece-of-ish gas-guzzling behemouth have to be a Douche Bag.
