Typically are CL 2IS members found on other forums?
 

Just curious. I was wondering if this is pretty much the largest forum or if lets say my.is or one of the others is.

Oh and I am just talking just 2IS members.

I just looked on my.is--for the IS 350, there were a total of 27 threads, plus another 7 for the IS 250. I think it's safe to say this is larger. It's definitely larger than lexus owners club...

my.is has tons of 1IS members...but not a whole lot of 2IS

i have been on the other ones but i must say they dont compare to CL. this is the first forum i have joined!!! the others i got on and didnt hang around. My IS doesnt look like there is any activity on it:uh:

Are there any other 2IS forums other than ClubLexus? :confused:

there used to be http://www.is350forums.com , but due to such low activity, they shut down

Whatever car i own is the forum i'm on, currently here. I must say thou, when i had a supra the ppl on the supra forums... they dont seem to live on this planet... more like a dream world really...

I was on lexusownersclub.com (which suct terribly) and I have seen my.is (which also was very unimpressive). I am here only now since its the bestIS forum out there!

My.is member but haven't visited their site in mos. I prefer CL.

Yeah, I joined that at the same time as CL, but that site was dead from the get-go.

only clublexus, but i found it via a video of the 2is aerotect meet. pretty much by accident...

The purpose of reading forums is to share experiences and knowledge with others so normally I would regularly participate in multiple forums but with the IS this is the only really useful forum IMO. I do have accounts in other IS forums but I hardly ever check them (only if the info I am looking for is not posted here)

is it just me or is the "my.is" site really slow....that's one of the main reasons i don't go there...

CL members seem more helpful...or maybe i'm biased lol

Yes, I do frequent other forums for the IS.

I know you are specifically speaking IS, but I spend most of my other time on a helicopter forum as I'm trying to learn how to fly an RC helicopter.

Most difficult thing I've ever tried to do in my life! If any of you have experience PM me.

A friend of mine, who has been flying RC helicopters for many years, described the process of learning to hover an RC chopper as "trying to balance a basketball on top of a basketball". ;)

On the original topic, I occasionally visit my.is to search their archives on those rare occasions when I can't find what I'm looking for on our site, but I almost never post there.

Plus this club gives me more than I need. I don't know how many of you have so many posts in such a short time. Well, for a couple of people I do understand....multiple, hollow, one line retorts on every thread. :nono:

I'm seldomly on my.is, but i do frequent the BMW forum, not as much as CL though.

I am mostly on CL. I go on to my.is a couple of times. Bimmer forums to check out their photoshoots (some of them are amazing).
SoCalLexus.net (from the maker of SoCalPrelude) just started so I am on there now.

I started out on My.IS, but some of the major personalities there really ticked me off, so I moved over here. It was a shame since they did seem to have more technical discussions there at the time. I can't stand all the "What color should I get?" threads...

It goes with the crowd. I think it's because some people purchases the 2IS just for show. Instead for the technical advancement Lexus made.
