That makes sense too sense cold air are more denser than warm air. More gas is used, but the car goes a little faster in cooler temp.

Yeah, it can be applied to CAI as well. But have you ever notice that your car drives better on colder days? Response are a lot better. In hot days, it's like, blah--I'm tired.

Don't bring heat into this because I live in Las Vegas and it was 120 degrees today on the thermometer. What the real problem is that the car didn't respond as fast because of the traction control. If you hold down the traction control button for 10 seconds when the car is stopped an orange button with the logo "VSS off" will come on. You ask for it you better be able to handle your **** cause that car will hand your *** to you; and whether it be 250/350 the throttle will not hold back and that car will get sideways.

They're so use to it already. At least here, we get breezes all the time plus we have beaches, hehe. Can you imagine going to Blythe? That place is like the Devil's playground--in the middle of nowhere and nothing but heat.

I don't know if the 250 does this. My 350 depending on the acelerator's travel it may down shift two gears to deliver the passing power. It was the power kick I felt that sold me on the 350.

How many of y'all experiencing this lag are using an aftermarket intake? It was in the low 90's here and I'm not experiencing any 'lag.' I floor the throttle and it downshifts immediately with a nice surge.

No delay on mine at all. I only use V-Power gas, if that makes a difference.

Were you in manual shift mode, or were you in full auto? And, did you have the power mode depressed, or was it in standard?

Guess I can't relate to the heat seeing as how it was in the 40s here at night this past week. Wow that's about 70 degrees cooler than what you guys are experiencing out west.

I was in regular autommatic mode and PWR is turned off. The switch is in a neutral position. I rarely use that feature. My car is bone stock right now.

From what I hear from some members, even a simple exhaust and intake upgrade really takes a performance hit on the IS. Now I'm thinking twice about getting my exhaust done and I definitely don't need power robbing issues, especially with the car lagging the way it is.
