Can't make up my mind whether to get yellow overlay, do you think it looks good on a starfire pearl or not. Or just keep it clear to give a clean look?

Should I get a clear vinyl to protect the lens anyway, I have a feeling it's going to look like hell in a few years.

BTW Has anyone got pulled over for yellow fog lights ON when there is no fog in CA?

I just replaced my stock fogs with yellow bulbs and also would like to know whether its illegal to have them on in CA.

Stock4ag, i have a SP and i went with the yellow blubs, IMO on our color it looks much better than the overlays. also when your rdy to put in the blubs go here:

1. Yellow fog will give you the retro look of old IS300, I personally don't like it on an ISx250 since it has become more into a luxury class. I see peeps also uses blue vinyl to overlay it; I love the cool blue look during daytime but I don't like it when the fog is on and turning into purplish light unless you HID the fog. It is my opinion only.

2. I recommend clear-bra cover as much as you can. It hurts when you see rock chipping on bumper, hood, headlamps, and fogs. Vinyl overlay on lights serves for the same purpose.

3. I don't think you will get a ticket but maybe only a fix-it ticket. The chance really depends on how you behave and how bore and picky the police is. Again, my opinion only.

I have tried both yellow and blue. I had the yellow overlay for 3 hours, and blue tint for 3 months. Now I have the JDM o/e HID&LED fog set and I stay on crystal clean and clearbra it.

Edit: If you like yellow fogs, use yellow bulbs is alos an approach.

No problems with cops. Drives with fog lights on at night. Sorry for the poor angle. Will look for better pic and repost

I dont like them... I think it looks like someone peed on them! I prefer my front light colors and housing colors all match....

Did it for the contrast. Blue overlay doesn't match the BWB color. Looks cheap but the yellow contrast looks better IMO.

All I have to say that I'm extremely statisfied..

By the way, I also replaced the Parking Light (HYPERWHITE) and Daytime Running Lights (PURPLE).. and its not LED's... Its actually bulbs and they look very good..

does any one have yellow fog lights with the non HID headlights?...all the pics that i can find have the fogs with HID headlights....

I think the Yellow Fog Light Overlays look good on Black and White cars only. On any other colored cars look weird to me.
