haha phillip, such memories.

Yeah. I don't have the evil in me to scratch or dent someone else's car.

I have however thrown pennies from my sunroof when someone is tailgaiting me.

I have also put sand on people's windshield wipers, so they scratch the glass when they turn them on, instead of washing it off.

And once, I egged a car.

That's all.

Philip/ thanks for the great ideas.

for me ,,
once there was a "Temporary" huge roadbump and even though i slowed down to 2 km/h .. the bottom of the left exhaust pipe scratched .. luckily it was just a scratch, no other damage.

and the only scratch i have on the paint is on the rear right pasenger door, by a child playing a scooter!, and again i'm lucky it isn't deep and unNoticable unless if your looking for it.

wow i have 6 of the above

Front Bumper Spoiler Damage From Parking Or Other: some person scrapedthe gfx on the side with their tire driving too close.

Rim Curb Rash / Bent Rim: 3 of my wheels from a friend borrowing my car for 3 days an 8 incher and me curbing in a drive thru 2 incher and a baby nick from swiping a curb on a turn

Body Dings / Dents: got a door ding in a compact shopping center.

Vehicle VS Vehicle Accident: like i said, hit and run from the same gfx person

Car Keyed: haters at school. effers engraved the letter J on my door.

Front or Rear Bumper Scratch / Scuff Marks: i think it came from my accident but scratches on the side of my front bumper.

and there you have it. got my car in december i have 4960 miles.

So far with 20k miles(10 months old) and mostly highway driving, I have rock chips. I did put on a clear bra same day I purchased the car. It has saved me from LOTS of chips especially on the bumper, but I don't have full coverage on the hood. Further up the hood above the clear bra there is 1 nice cratch/chip that I've already covered with touchup paint and several little rock chips peppered on the hood. I've also covered them with touchup paint.

At a distance and even close it's hard to see them unless you know where to look. As of today, that's all my damage. Hopefully that's as bad as it gets.

Exclamation

Now this whole thread has got me out there all uptight about what my wife did to the car.

Remember that free touchup paint I get from the bodyshop that's a lot more than the pen type deal? Well, I got my airbrush out, tried to make the garage as much of a "clean room" as possible, masked the portion off and got to it!

Gonna have to compound and work some more, but I'm determined to get (we say gee-it here in Texas) it right.

Now see what you guys have started? I had almost forgotten about this, but after reading the thread yesterday I started going out there looking, coming back in, thinking, drinking a beer, another beer, four more beers and decided, "It's got to be done!"

I have started, I'll let you know.

some lame POS keyed the whole side of my IS one night at dinner ... probably thought I stole his parking space or something lame like that. It's for crap like that it's a good reason to have a $0 comp deductible.

also scraped the bottom of the stock front lip from pulling too far forward in a parking space -- that dman curb was closer than I thought.

no rock chips thanks to the clearbra installed by Premier.

Other than the 1 million and 1 rock chips on my front bumper, today I also found rock chips on my windshield! After my car was washed today, I noticed small black flecks on my windshield. I went to go scrape it off and it dawned on me that it wasn't dirt I was trying to scrape off...They're actually rock chips.

Does anyone know if small chips on the windshield will eventually spread and make my entire windshield crack?
