For those of you who want some info on CarPCs you can go to www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/ and if you scroll down, there is a sub forum called "Show off your project". YOu can see all types of cars in there.
In my WRX, I had a PC in a case that looked like an amp, with a 7 inch touchscreen monitor, wireless internet, GPS and nav, bluetooth, not to mention a 160 gig hard drive for some mobile tunes .
THere is all sorts of software and special hardware [startup/shutdown controllers specially made for CarPCs, etc...].
Anyone have questions, let me know

Beyond badass. I give it less than ten years and you will see this in most luxury cars.

Good work~~!!

This is exactly what I'm in the process of doing. Already got my carpc built, now waiting for xenarc to release their 1-din touchscreen LCD with built-in DVD drive. I want to relocate my non-nav stock HU to the glove compartment and route an mini-jack audio cable from the center console to the carpc in the trunk.

Here is a sneak peak at how my frontend will look like, day and night skins

I love them!!! I would personally add some blue bits to the night skin to match the feel of the OEM at night
